I have some vacation time I have to use or lose before the end of the year so I took this past Monday off. Heading to northern Colorado, my photo goal was my favorite subject, bald eagles.
Right off the bat at my first stop, I got lucky and found this handsome fellow. Perched in the trees along a lake, he gave me some nice poses and then, when he decided he was hungry, he took flight with some gorgeous golden light on him.
