Ah yes, love is in the air this time of year for these majestic creatures. I captured this image of this mated pair of eagles last year, just a few days after Valentine’s Day. They have a nest southwest of Denver and had been busy prepping their home for what would be the arrival of two beautiful eaglets later in spring. I haven’t been down to see them yet this year but will soon and hope they are as successful this time around. Coincidentally, I just ordered a metal print of this image for myself. You can too.
