Taken at Yellowstone National Park a few weeks ago. We stopped to have a picnic next to the LeHardy Rapids. Seemed like a nice place – until we noticed these things on the trees around us. Everything was fine but then they started landing on us and while bugs don’t normally bother me, I was kind of creeped out by them. We made a hasty exit, eating our lunches as we hiked back to the car. 😉
