A Bald Eagle tucks its wings back and heads for the deck at high speed before pulling up at low altitude and heading off into the distance. A pretty dramatic picture, I think, and an unusual angle. This is actually the same bird I posted a picture of posing this morning. After a time it had decided it was done with its photo session and opted to move to different grounds – but not before putting on a bit of an airshow. It leaned over from its perch and plunged almost straight down with its wings tucked in. Quite a show off and tons of fun to witness!
