Going back to the end of April for this capture for #FoxFriday.
It had rained steadily overnight but stopped not long before sunrise. That allowed me to get out and visit my favorite foxes. It turned out to be a fantastic morning as I got my first, good looks of the kits at this den, pics of whom I have shared previously.
While the little ones played, the parents were close by, keeping watch and ensuring all was safe. Here, one of the adults detects my presence and stops and focuses on me, trying to determine if I am friend or foe. Thankfully, it decided I was no threat and allowed the family to continue to hang out and allowing the photo session to continue for quite a while.
