My wife and I were out for an early morning hike in the Indian Peaks Wilderness back in September and had been observing three bulls soon after dawn. The rut was gearing up so we were keenly aware to keep our distance. While focused on the other two that were sparring, this big boy who we thought had left the area emerged. Such massive, amazing creatures! I can’t wait to get back up there this summer.
