Launch! Absolutely one of my favorite bald eagle pictures that I have taken. This particular eagle was still hanging around this summer back in June at a lake northeast of Denver.
Over an eight day span it gave me many, many photo opportunities including this one when it launched from a tree and was close enough that I could literally hear the ‘whoosh’ from its massive wings. An incredible experience!
