January really isn’t my time of year as I don’t care for the cold. However, the one consolation that keeps me warm inside is that is when Bald Eagle activity is approaching its peak on the Colorado plains. On this particular morning, the mercury reflected the bone-chilling cold but weathering it is very worthwhile if it means visiting with these birds an capturing their magnificence.
