I spent my Thanksgiving morning out and about looking for worthy photo subjects. They were, unfortunately, few and far between but I did get to spend some time with this beautiful lady and her mate.
The pair of bald eagles was hanging out on the cold morning, overlooking a lake, and just enjoying the holiday. It was a bit of a hike to get to them but it was well worth it. She was giving me some great poses, pretty much entirely ignoring me, then out of the blue took flight. I was zoomed in further than what I would have preferred but it still made for a nice capture.
