Something I fully intend to do this weekend – take a nap or two! 😉
It has been a while since I have been able to spot any great horned owls. That was not for a lack of trying – just wasn’t having any luck.
Finally on Wednesday I happened across this sleepy head, well hunkered down and enjoying a relatively warm fall day. I sat for a good half hour hoping it would open its eyes but I never got more than this shot of it just barely opening its eyes to see if I was still there.
