Precious fawn grazes in the early morning sun

I came across this beautiful fawn (really, almost an adolescent) mule deer and its mother this past weekend. They were lazily grazing along the roadside, seemingly without a care in the world. The little one was grazing when it came across this flower and stopped to smell it – then it ate it. 😉 Taken in Rocky Mountain National Park.
