This is probably my favorite Moose calf image I have ever taken. This young one was absolutely beautiful and amusing with its big, long legs that seemed a bit out of proportion to the rest of its body. With mama nearby, it took the time to smell – and eat – some flowers.
They really seemed to like these pink / purple ones quite a lot. I was tempted to sample them as well but decided against it. 😉 Taken in Arapaho National Forest, Colorado.
