I took the long way home from work hoping to exercise my camera and managed to find a few worthy subjects. This young Bald ?Eagle?, clearly in the process of molting, was perched on a pole with three other eagles nearby.
While it didn’t mind me one bit, the other three left soon after I arrived. It watched its friends bail and decided it would give pursuit. In doing so, it gave me a fantastic launch sequence and this image is one of the 12 or so I captured of it. Juvenile or mature, these raptors are just gorgeous!
