A Bald Eagle raises its wings, ready to drop them and propel itself through the air.
Seeing one of these massive raptors take off is pretty impressive and images like this capture but a single, split second of a very complex sequence of motions that make it happen. This particular eagle was kind enough to launch right toward me this past Saturday allowing to capture a nice sequence.
