A very fun video of this huge elk bull as he arrived on scene Sunday. He emerged from the forest and saw another bull had gathered its harem in the meadow below. After giving some great pics, the bull then announced his presence with several, hearty bugles that I captured on video as he descended the hill.
I think the falling rain and chilly temps with the elk’s breath added to the scene. As with any video I take, it is a bit shaky as I was handholding my camera but all-in-all, think it came out pretty well.
