“What’s up, bub?” A Ferruginous Hawk casts a serious look toward the photographer. It was pretty clear it had just finished eating lunch judging by the blood on its breast, chin and beak. Despite the serious look, the raptor posed for me quite a while, more interested in the goings on in the nearby field than me.
