It is Freedom Friday and that means I post a pic of my absolute favorite subject. For today’s image, we see this gorgeous raptor giving the quintessential Bald Eagle pose.
Proud, majestic, and regal, this one was a regular visitor to a suburban park north of Denver this past winter. Despite quite a lot of humans in the area, it would hang out, unimpressed by the people and unthreatened knowing it was king of the roost.
Over a couple of months I took many, many pictures of it and have to say it was one of the most beautiful eagles I have ever seen.
