Ah, yes, we are getting into my favorite time of year. While I do not particularly enjoy the cold of winter, I do relish the increased opportunities to photograph my favorite subject. I have been seeing more eagles lately as the seasonal residents return to Colorado.
This was one of two I spotted last weekend along the South Platte River. While they didn’t let me get close, their flyby was nicely accepted by the mountains below.
