Normally I save my eagle shots for Friday’s but got busy and never did post a pic yesterday so here is one a day late. This is from my visit to a nest last weekend.
The raptors were very busy working on their home and gave me some nice shots including this one as one of the eagles flew in front of a tree with some leaves still clinging on it.
Resident eagles are busy working on their nests now, staking claim to their territory before the seasonal eagles arrive. They will then guard the area, ensuring none of the interlopers intrude.
