A photo of my favorite pair of bald eagles for Valentines Day.
Five years ago, these two established their home in northern Colorado. Since then, it has been one of my greatest pleasures to spend hours and hours watching and photographing them and their offspring.
Bald eagles mate for life and this pair has proven to be quite resilient and strong as they stand fast by each other year after year. They have weathered storms and tragedy but remain together, strong as ever. May you and your valentine be as strong and lucky!
