Well, if you’re going to take in a view, this would be a good spot to do it – not that I would clamber out there like this mountain goat did. 😉
This young one was quite content to pick out a spot all alone and just lay there, relaxing. I have to say, I was a bit jealous.
Taken back on a smoky July 4th on Mount Evans, it was a nice day weather-wise at 14,000+ feet although the smoke from wildfires in neighboring states did obscure the view. That smoke though did create a cool, layered look to the smaller mountains and foothills to the east.
