A coyote keep close watch on the photographer at Cherry Creek State Park, Colorado yesterday. This handsome guy was closely guarding its breakfast and while it was wary of my presence, it wasn’t too concerned and didn’t run off.
Coyotes are amazingly adaptable animals and have not been greatly impacted by human expansion. They range across North America and some have even been seen into Central America and Panama.
